I think that we are DEFINITELY on the right track. The design needs a little tweak here and there, but the scale of the brackets is perfect for our porch.

Very nice but I was wondering, can you do anything about those black pipes that frame the porch? Maybe paint them to match the bricks. Just a thought. Ellie

Those black pipes are copper gutters and downspouts. They are really quite attractive and subtle ... just not when photographed from this angle.

Looks good. It's so smart of you to do a test run on the look and scale.
Never paint copper... :-) Love the design and that it is not overly intricate. Just enough.
