Our daughter has oatmeal and two hard-boiled eggs for breakfast every morning. She doesn't eat the yolks of the eggs. The dogs each get one. Daniel knows this.
"Are you finished peeling those eggs yet?"
"Which one of those is mine?"
"Hi, Mom."
He's so cute!
He is cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd, your cabinets are pretty, too.
What great pictures!! I especially love the last one of Daniel - he's gorgeous!! It doesn't take them long to work out our habits, does it?

OMG, Connie! Thanks so much for leaving such sweet words on my blog, which allowed me to discover your beautiful blog in return! Your dog is so cute eyeing those eggs!...and your house is gorgeous...I love your red barn and rose garden too...AND your crochet!!!! It's so nice to meet you! :D Paulette
ReplyDeleteIt is confirmed, we were separated at birth. I fry an egg for my dogs every morning. Over easy though so we must be fraternal.
ReplyDeleteoh boy, I'm not letting my dogs see this post.
ReplyDeleteDaniel is a beautiful boy, patiently waiting for his breakfast. Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of handsome Daniel. Ann
ReplyDeleteSuch patience! So cute! The eyes are amazing. Love that last photo of Daniel...Now I have a smile on my face and I thank you!
ReplyDeletehugs, Linda
What a complete cute-pie!! With those eyes, I'm surprised he doesn't get eggs for every meal!!!

Hi
ReplyDeleteWhat cute photos. My hubby and our dog, Schnitzel have a routine also. He know as soon as my hubby pours cereal into a bowl, he will get one nugget of cereal. It is so cute to watch and it happens every single morning.
My best- Diane
Ohhhhh, I love this.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog too.
I didn't know dogs ate yolks. I'll have to try it on ours.
Well, it wasn't my intention to be anonymous, but my whatevers didn't work.
ReplyDeleteStill don't.

Daniel is my sweet boy ... the dog that picked ME, while I was transporting a load of greyhounds from North Carolina five years ago. He will eat just about anything. Eggs seem sort of logical. He even begs for a bite of banana ... and I comply.
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable! Love the photo of him looking at you over the counter! With a look like that he would get whatever he wanted at my house too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Look at those big eyes, I could not resist him. Daniel is a handsome fellow.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame him...yolk is my fave too! So cute..those little expectant eyes.
ReplyDeleteLOL! You can just READ what he's thinking, can't you, Connie?? Too funny! My little Maizie does that same thing with her meals. She gets something yummy thrown in with her food like carrots, blueberries, squash,or broccoli. Being the 'foodie' that she is, it disappears in a matter of minutes! :)

A familiar sight in our home as well!! One person at the counter packing lunches, one greyhound anticipating SOMETHING falling to the ground for his benefit. Lol. He's a beauty!
ReplyDeleteOh he is a cutie! No wonder he has such a beautiful coat!
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute! I love these pictures!
ReplyDeleteKat :)
Yes, Connie, he definitely looks like a sweet boy. He also looks like my Pepper-boy who is now gone. An older, graying black Standard Poodle's eyes look just like Daniel's. Very kissable.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with those ears. Today I watched a documentary about fellow Virginian and famous photographer Sally Mann. She had 5 or 6 greyhounds.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, too cute.
ReplyDeleteLord I'm laughing... he really IS CUTE!
ReplyDeleteHubby was laughing at Rowdy in the kitchen this morning. He was preparing a hot dot... (early lunch) and Rowdy kept eye-balling the hot dog, so instead Hubby gave him a slice of Kosher pickle. Rowdy wasn't too sure about it but after 3 attempts he DID eat it. LOL
How adorable. This is just what I needed...my house seems so quiet since my kitty died and seeing your baby brought a huge smile to my face.
