Sunday Reality

Today's weather is perfect, if this were October ... low 70s, sun in and out of light clouds, comfortable breeze.  Hard to believe that it's actually mid-December.

The practical part of me keeps hinting that I should take advantage of the amazing day and be out in the garden, planting the last of my fall bulbs.  The weather outside may be perfect, but I believe that this is the best way for me to spend the day.

Winnie and I are watching football.  Okay, not exactly ... I'm watching football and Winnie napping in my lap.

I can play in the garden tomorrow.

  1. I rarely go outside, but I sure wish I had a little sweetie to keep me company indoors.

    1. I go outside only when necessary in winter, because I really don’t like the cold ... unless it’s a nice day and I have things that are nagging me to be accomplished. That was the case yesterday, but I ignored my conscience and was happier for it.

  2. What a sweet picture and it looks like it was meant to be instead of playing in your gardens.

    1. It's easy to take a sweet picture like this, when one's subject is the adorable Ms. Winnie!

    1. I think so, too. She's not too much of a lap puppy, so lap time with her is precious and to be enjoyed whenever she deems it to be time.

  8. I don't know where I've been but I haven't seen Winnie in a long time. So glad to see her pretty self all snuggled in her sweater. She looks like the perfect companion for an indoor afternoon.
