I would love to do a full report on the conference, with tons of photos and insights, but I can't. I took very few photos over the course of the three days, as I was concentrating on making sure that each event kept to the schedule and went as planned. All I can really do now is breathe a big sigh of relief and move on.
I can share this photo that my friend Jill took of me on a garden visit after the conference was over. I love how it captures me in my natural habitat, concentrating on framing a perfect image with my phone. So typical!
I hope that I will soon catch up with everyone. Thanks for sticking around ... for checking on me ... and for being here.
It looked like a wonderful conference--loads to learn, see and do! Plus getting to be with those who love what you love.. Thank you for all you did! How many attended?
ReplyDeleteHi, Teresa! It WAS a wonderful conference, and I enjoyed it very much. The people who attended were super ... no chance of boring anyone with endless talk of roses during that weekend. :)
DeleteOur core group of full-conference registrations was 75. Each activity during the weekend had a few ala-carte attendees, bringing totals to up to 80. The banquet, as I expected, was the popular activity with 95 people in attendance. It was a wonderful crowd, perfect weather, and a delightful way to finish off what turned out to be a memorable event.
So glad to see you back dear Connie. You put a lot of work, heart and soul into that conference. Relax one day at a time, enjoying all of that rosy beauty around you.

I think that relaxing is part of my problem. It's not a state that I'm accustomed to. For me, relaxing is more like working in the garden than chilling. The garden was pretty close to perfect, and there's not a whole lot out there for me to do right now. Fortunately, there are always weeds to deal with .... :)
DeleteIf you are bored and looking for something to do...i have weeds...need to come see you and get my roses. 😊 and walk through that garden.
ReplyDelete... and here I am thinking that I need to come up and visit YOU, to see the things that your husband created over the winter, and walk through YOUR garden. Our rain has made it almost a delight to pull weeds; they come out so easily, but there sure are a LOT of them.
DeleteGlad to see you back, Connie. We need your expertise!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jim! It's good to BE back!!
DeleteWhat a great capture of our rose lady in her element!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it ... I think it's perfect!
