A Story Without Words

... except one.

Busted!

He seems to have an instinct for which of my shoes are the 'good' ones.

Daniel was once a world champion shoe stealer.  That waned, and eventually stopped all together, as his health deteriorated.  Now that he feels better, he's up to his old tricks.  Time to stash my shoes again whenever I take them off (instead of leaving them wherever when I kick them off.)

  1. My daughter's chocolate lab chewed the back out of one of my expensive Ecco brand shoes some years ago... grrrr.... My fault for leaving them out when there was a pup wandering the house at night... Lesson learned on my part. :-)

  4. My brother had a dog that would grab your shoes whenever you took them off and you had to chase him down to get them! Funny! hugs, Linda

  5. You wear those shoes with the toe things????..... can I laugh harder at that? Gotta ask you, are they comfortable? I've heard they are very therapeutic, but I just can't get past the - toe- look to try them for myself.

Daniel looks bright eyed and bushy tailed - Amen.

  6. In this case, "up to his old tricks" is a good thing... except for your shoes!

  7. Well, good ole' Daniel must be feeling quite good to start in with stealing shoes again. I guess that's a good thing... except if you ask the shoe it probably isn't. ;-)

  11. I think it's cute for a dog to grab your shoe and chew it. At least you know, you dont have any problems with your foot. Beacause your dog loves them. Nice blog by the way.
