As Seen Through the Family Room Door

I came up from the basement yesterday afternoon, and this was the view I saw as I glanced through the door into our family room.

Maggie, and Emma, and Daniel were sound asleep ... each on their own dog bed.  Alice and Dorothy were curled up on the couch.

What a peaceful scene.

With Emma's still-unknown illness weighing heavily on me, peace is in short supply right now.  My brain won't slow down, and I'm grinding my teeth more than usual.

Emma's ultrasound is this afternoon.  I hope we get an answer ... no matter how bad the news may be.  If I know, I can manage.  Not knowing is torture.

Thanks for listening.  This blog will return to its regularly-scheduled upbeat and positive style soon.  Right now, I'm not feeling it.

  8. This blog is about your life. And the pups and kitties are your kids. No need to apologize about the contents!
I used to feel as if I was the only one who loved my animals in the way I do. When I began blogging, I found so many others who are kindreds. You are one :)
Smooches to all your babes. Hugs to you.
