Why You Should Adopt Kittens in Pairs

If you adopt two kittens at once, things like this are less likely to happen to your older cats.

I have shared with you many adorable images of Dorothy and Alice, snuggled up sleeping.  Yesterday, with Alice nowhere to be found, Dorothy decided that Maggie would make a suitable sleeping partner.  The look on Maggie's face says it all.

  1. Maggie looks all like... 'what the??'. She'll get over it, right?

  2. LOL... oh, I love animal antics. It like Dorothy is trying to perform an intervention or something.

"Look... you really don't want to do this..."

  3. That's funny. And, what pretty coats they both have. Love the stripes on Dorothy and the face markings on Maggie.

  6. The bubble above her head should read: "Excuuuuuuse me - but what in the world do you think you're doing...????" lol!

  7. Do you think the landlord would be more sympathetic if I asked for two cats? Thanks for the smile. I needed it.

  8. LOL, so true!

Besides, adopting 2 kittens is even more fun than adopting 1 kitten because then you get to watch them play with each other as well as with you.

    Kitten adoption algorythm:
    adoption + 2 kittens = funx10

  9. Animals are so funny at times! They make me smile! The ears back on one and the facial expression on the other are hilarious! What a great shot!

  11. Maybe it's something to do with the name "Maggie", my Maggie looks the same way when my other cat (her own kitten!) tries to get close to her - then the fireworks erupt!! lol
