The new Hartwood Roses web site has been up for less than an hour, and I already have people over there digging through the new crop of roses and asking questions. How cool is that!
I don't have much sense of smell either...not since the allergies came...I wonder if that's why? hmmmm or are we just used to them! hahaha

Oh what beautiful roses you grow, I can smell roses and just looking at your beautiful photos makes me 'think' I can smell them already. I sure wish I could grow those beauties. I have a few roses but seems like I fight to get anything to last for very many years. Thanks - have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour roses and your pictures of them are Beautiful! I also love the pictures of your furbabies! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWell you certainly selected some of the more fragrant roses in the garden. And it's a shame of losing
ReplyDeleteany sense of smell with the garden you have.Although I am a former smoker,I can't imagine not smelling some of the beauty's that are in your garden.

Oh yes! roses are the bestest flowers of them all. My favourite scented one is double delight. But Mr Lincoln is great too. Those ones you have shared look like David Austins. Beautiful, just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteJust discovered your blog through another, so glad I did! I love old homes and old roses too and plan to design a small rose garden in the back yard of THIS OLD HOUSE, an 1835 farm house we are in the process of restoring/expanding. I also love photography, beautiful pictures you have taken.
ReplyDeleteI don't have the sense of smell that I used to have, and I've developed allergies in recent years, perhaps this is the reason!
I'm adding you to my blogroll, I hope that's OK. Have a great weekend! - Karen
Just beautiful!
