White Wednesday: Snow Day, Part Deux (or is it Trois?)

It's been more than a month since I ran out of photos of white roses that I used for White Wednesday Roses.  Outside is so lovely and snowy and white ... so, let's do White Wednesday with snow photos today.

This most recent snow storm (so far) hasn't lived up to the dread and doom that we were expecting. We are not in the area that's expecting the most snowfall this time, thank goodness. From what I can tell, it looks like we have added another 3 inches. It sure is pretty.

(took this one with a telephoto lens through the family room window.)

Just in the time it took me to write this, the sun appears to be trying to emerge from the clouds.  Maybe we'll get a break this time.  I'm going to go out and feed the birds now.

  1. Hi There, I am in Virginia too and just came in from feeding the chickens and the little birdies too. I am sure all the birds must be wondering where all this snow is coming from. The sun just came out after a morning of intense white out snow. But the wind is blowing so hard and blowing the snow off the trees it still looks like it's snowing. It's no nice to meet another Virginia. Your old home is just beautiful. Stay warm and happy White Wednesday. ~ Lynn

  2. Your snow photos are beautiful. You might be getting tired of it, but those of us who haven't gotten any this year are enjoying seeing it even if through photos. thanks for playing along.

  3. HI Connie ~ You are SO right. OMG!!! Amy & Calvin could be twins. I think he is part "ragdoll" cat. He & Hobbes were both rescues from a woman that kept 98 cats in a 2 room apt. along with her 5 year old boy. It was such a sad story. But at least my guys have a happy ending. Love your photos~ I think you guys got it a lot worse than we did in CT.
